The life of the late Václav Havel will be symbolically closed this weekend as a cruise ship containing the floral tributes made last week sails from Prague to Děčín.

The ship will begin its journey on Saturday morning, leaving from the Rašínovo Embankment at 10am and subsequently sailing through Prague, Mělník, Roudnice nad Labem, Litoměřice, Lovosice, Ústi nad Labem and finally reaching its destination of Děčín two days later.

The Lužnice cruise ship will be accompanied by other ships as far as Prague Štvanice before continuing its solo journey along the Vtlava and the Elbe to honour one of the most remarkable and unique personalities in Czechoslovak and Czech history.

Please accept our invitation to attend this event and participate in this silent rememberance of an exceptional man. Tickets are available free of charge from the Prague Steamship Company office from 9am on 30th December. This will enable you to travel on one of the accompanying ships for this unique tribute.
