Solar boat Electronemo

The solar boat Electronemo is a unique project of Prague Steamboat Company. It has been on the Vltava river only since 2010. The boat is run by an engine that uses solar energy from the panels on the roof. It is the first boat of this kind in the Czech Republic.

The Electronemo is 10,2 m long and 3,2m wide, it can carry up to 28 passengers. The operation of the boat is very quiet and ecological. It is used for educational and sightseeing cruises around the Prague city centre.

Cruises will be made based on reservation only.

teacher accompaniment - free

Cruises will be made based on reservation only.

(cruise duration 50 minutes, a tour of the engine room with expert commentary 40 minutes, students will receive a free worksheet with independent tasks with the literary theme of J. Verne).
